Ship hardener WS206F

Overview
206F slow epoxy hardener with low viscosity. When mixed with resin 105‑F, it produces a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant cured solid with good bonding and coating properties. Provides extended working time and is suitable for higher workshop temperatures. Not intended for transparent/clear coatings. May emit a strong ammonia odor. Sold without pumps.

Performance and usage

• Low-viscosity epoxy curing agent formulated for use with WEST SYSTEM resin 105‑F
• Extended pot life for assembly, bonding and lamination tasks
• Produces rigid, high-strength laminates and bonded joints
• Suitable for applications exposed to moisture (not a finishing waterproof coat)
• Not recommended for transparent clear coats

Cure times and pot life

• Pot life at 25°C: 20–30 minutes
• Cure to solid state at 21°C: 9–12 hours
• Cure to maximum strength at 21°C: 5–7 days

Working conditions

• Minimum recommended working temperature: 16°C

Consumption

• For a 1 kg mixture on a porous surface at 25°C: 6.5–7.5 m²
• For a 1 kg mixture on a non-porous surface at 25°C: 8.5–9.5 m²

Mixing
Mix resin and hardener for two minutes or longer at low temperatures. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the container while mixing.
