Ship hardener WS206E

Short description
Slow Cure 206-E is a low-viscosity epoxy hardener formulated to extend working time when used with 105 epoxy resin. The cured 105/206-E system yields a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant material with good bonding and coating characteristics.

Performance and curing

• Pot life at 25°C: 20–30 minutes
• Cure to solid state at 21°C: 9–12 hours
• Cure to maximum strength at 21°C: 5–7 days
• Minimum recommended working temperature: 16°C

Consumption

• 1 kg mixture on porous surface at 25°C: 6.5–7.5 m²
• 1 kg mixture on non-porous surface at 25°C: 8.5–9.5 m²

Mixing
Mix resin 105 and hardener 206-E for at least two minutes at low temperature, scraping the sides and bottom of the container while mixing.

Composition / Chemical information
Reaction products of propoxylated propane-1,2-diol with various amine curing agents (see technical data sheet).

Additional notes
Not intended for transparent coatings. Product may have a strong ammonia odor. Sold without pumps. Lead time on order: approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
