Description
Graphite 423 is a fine black graphite powder formulated to be mixed with epoxy to produce a low-friction, more scratch-resistant and durable exterior coating. The epoxy/graphite blend cures to a black finish and is commonly applied on rudders, daggerboards and the bottoms of dry-sailing racing boats. It does not provide antifouling properties.

Applications

• Low-friction exterior coating for rudders, daggerboards and hull bottoms of dry-run race boats.
• Low-load, low-speed bearing surfaces.
• Teak deck joint simulation and UV protection for resins.

Mixing instructions
Add to the resin/hardener mixture at 10% by volume (approx. 1.5 tablespoons to 8 fl oz of epoxy). Mix thoroughly to an even paste before application.
