Description
Hardener 205 is a medium-viscosity epoxy hardener designed to produce a fast cure and rapid development of physical properties. It is intended for bonding and coating applications and performs well at lower temperatures when combined with 105 resin.

Usage and performance

• Primary use: bonding and coating
• Viscosity: medium
• Performs effectively at lower ambient temperatures

Curing information

• Mixing ratio with 105 resin: 5:1 (resin:hardener)
• Pot life at 25°C: 10–15 minutes
• Cure to solid at 21°C: 5–7 hours
• Full strength cure at 21°C: 5–7 days
• Minimum recommended working temperature: 5°C

Dosing & mixing

• Dosing: use mini-pumps for accurate proportions; one pressure of resin to one pressure of hardener yields correct ratio
• Mixing: stir resin and hardener for at least two minutes (longer at low temperatures); scrape sides and bottom of container while mixing

Consumption (coverage)

• For a 1 kg mixture on a porous surface at 25°C: 6.5–7.5 m²
• For a 1 kg mixture on a non-porous surface at 25°C: 8.5–9.5 m²
