Ship hardener WS206B

Description
Slow, low-viscosity epoxy hardener formulated to be mixed with Epoxy 105 to produce a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid with strong bonding and coating properties.

Key properties and uses

• Provides extended working time where longer cure is required; suitable for higher workshop temperatures.
• Low viscosity improves wetting and penetration on porous substrates.
• Intended for bonding, lamination and general-purpose coating with Epoxy 105 (not for transparent clear coatings).
• May emit a strong ammonia odour during cure.

Pot life and cure times

• Pot life at 25°C: 20–30 minutes
• Cure to solid state at 21°C: 9–12 hours
• Cure to maximum strength at 21°C: 5–7 days

Working conditions
Minimum recommended working temperature: 16°C.

Consumption

• For a 1 kg resin+hardener mixture on a porous surface at 25°C: 6.5–7.5 m²
• For a 1 kg resin+hardener mixture on a non-porous surface at 25°C: 8.5–9.5 m²

Mixing
Mix resin and hardener thoroughly for at least two minutes at low temperatures, scraping the sides and bottom of the container during mixing.

Pumps / Application
Sold without pumps. Recommended pump: Model B pumps (reference 301-B / WS301) for dispensing.
