Product description
Antifouling paint formulated with a high content of copper oxide and specific antifouling agents. Designed for warm waters and severe conditions. Effective protection for over 12 months when total dry film thickness is 100–120 µm. Recommended for wooden, steel and fibreglass workboats up to 30 knots.

Usage
Surface preparation and application

• Bare steel: sandblast to Sa 2–2.5, apply 1 coat of EPOFOND AM-9 and let dry 12–24 h. Apply 2 further coats of EPOFOND AM-9 (max 24 h between coats, min 6–8 h). Then apply 2 coats of VENOX SUPER, respecting drying times between coats.
• Bare wood: apply 1 coat of EPOFOND AM-9 followed by 2 coats of SOLVER PRIMER. Then apply 2–3 coats of VENOX SUPER, respecting drying times between coats.
• Fibreglass (gelcoat): apply 1 coat of UNIFIBER PRIMER then 2–3 coats of VENOX SUPER, respecting drying times between coats.
• Painted hulls: clean, remove fouling, rinse with fresh water and sand (wet sanding recommended). Apply 1 coat of SOLVER PRIMER over old antifouling (especially if unknown), then 2 coats of VENOX SUPER, respecting drying times between coats.

Recommendations
Maximum launching period after the final coat is 1 month. With top-quality copper-based antifouling and if the hull is protected from moisture and rain (plastic cover or similar), launching time may extend up to 3 months.

Colour
Colour may vary slightly after immersion and between production lots. If required, mix different lots before application.

Remarks
Values in the technical data may vary slightly between batches. Do not expose the applied product to water, chemicals or mechanical stress before full curing. Wet film thickness refers to undiluted product; dilution increases this value. Information is based on laboratory tests and practical experience and may be revised by the manufacturer.
