Overview
Self-polishing antifouling formulated with copper thiocyanate for protection of hulls on all types of boats, including aluminium and light alloys. Recommended for medium-speed vessels up to 30 knots. Minimum 2 coats recommended.

Usage
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Bare steel hulls. On sandblasted steel to SA 2–2.5 apply 1 coat of EPOFOND AM-9 and allow 12–24 hours to dry. Apply then 2 coats of EPOFOND AM-9 allowing max. 24 hours between coats (min. 6–8 hours). Overcoat with 2 coats of STANDARD PLUS STC White antifouling allowing 12–24 hours between coats.

Bare wood hulls. Apply one coat of EVIOX CROMOMINIO heavily thinned and allow to dry. Apply 2 coats of SOLVER PRIMER allowing 24 hours between coats. Overcoat with 2 coats of STANDARD PLUS STC White antifouling allowing 12–24 hours between coats.

Bare fibreglass hulls. Degrease with suitable cleaner, rinse and dry. Sand with fine abrasive and remove dust. Apply 1 coat of EPOFOND AM-9 or POLIFIBER PRIMER; after 24 hours sand lightly. Apply 2 coats of STANDARD PLUS STC White allowing 12–24 hours between coats.

Aluminium and light-alloy hulls. Degrease surface with THINNER 765. Apply 1 coat of EPOFOND AM-9 and let dry minimum 8 hours (max 24 hours). Apply 3 coats of SOLVER PRIMER allowing 24 hours between coats. Overcoat with 2 coats of STANDARD PLUS STC White allowing 12–24 hours between coats.

Previously coated hulls. If the existing antifouling is in good condition, compatible and well adhered, apply 1–2 coats of SOLVER PRIMER followed by 2 coats of STANDARD PLUS STC White allowing 12–24 hours between coats. If the previous antifouling is deteriorated, remove to sound substrate and follow new-hull instructions.

Recommendations
After application of the final coat, maximum out-of-water period before launching is 1 month; with high-quality copper-based antifouling and adequate protection from moisture or rain, this may extend up to 3 months. Protect hull from humidity with plastic cover if needed.

Colour
Final colour after immersion may vary slightly between production batches. If matching is required, mix different cans of the same colour code before application.

Remarks
Values in this technical sheet may vary slightly between batches. Do not expose the product to water, chemicals or mechanical stress before full cure. Wet film thickness refers to undiluted product; dilution increases this value. Information is based on laboratory tests and practical experience; actual conditions may affect performance.
