Description

Short description
AR/100 is designed to protect industrial sites, refineries, ports and similar marine or coastal areas from pollution. The barrier is supplied in sections typically 25 m long; modules are available in 10 m or 25 m lengths. The barrier fabric is a chemical‑resistant PVC sheet reinforced with high‑strength polyester fibers. Buoyancy is provided by foam floats housed in dedicated PVC pockets. Stability is ensured by shaped lead ballasts located in the same pockets as the floats. Modules are connected using a quick‑release joining system that facilitates separation when required while maintaining continuous containment.

MAINTENANCE
Due to the simple design and the materials used, AR/100 does not require special maintenance. It is essential to perform thorough cleaning after each deployment before storage. The manufacturer can supply maintenance services and advise on minor repairs, including patching tears caused by adverse weather or sea conditions.

EMPLOYMENTS
AR/100 is intended for use by military arsenals, the oil and petrochemical industry, environmental remediation companies, ports and industrial sites. The barrier is supplied with a yellow main sheet and red floats.
