Short descriptionAR/85 is designed to contain and limit oil and chemical pollution in ports, refineries, industrial sites and coastal operations. Supplied in 25 m modules, the barrier is made of chemical-resistant PVC reinforced with polyester fibers for high mechanical strength. Buoyancy is provided by foam elements placed in dedicated PVC pockets. System stability is ensured by shaped steel ballasts located in the same pockets as the floats. The modules connect using a universal ASTM "Z" joining system that facilitates separation when needed while maintaining containment continuity.
MaintenanceDue to its simple design and the quality of materials, AR/85 requires no special maintenance. After each deployment a thorough cleaning prior to storage is essential. Repair services and guidance for minor field repairs are available on request.
User adviceAR/85 is intended for military arsenals, the oil industry, reclamation and emergency response teams. Standard colour: yellow main sheet with red floats. Custom configurations available on request.
