Description
AR/70 is a floating containment barrier designed to protect stretches of coastline, docks and marinas from oil, hydrocarbons and floating debris. Its weight-to-buoyancy ratio allows the barrier to follow wave motion and maintain containment capacity even in adverse sea conditions. The envelope is manufactured from polyester fabric coated on both sides with a PVC compound to ensure long-term mechanical resistance. The push (float) and ballast system are placed on a single side to avoid handholds and ensure the opposite side provides unobstructed flow of pollutants.

Maintenance
AR/70 requires no special maintenance thanks to its simple design and durable materials. After each deployment, perform a thorough cleaning before storage. For damage such as tears caused by severe weather or sea conditions, service and minor repair guidance are available from the manufacturer or supplier.

Usage
AR/70 is suitable for the oil and petrochemical sectors, aquaculture (fish farms, nurseries) and the chemical industry. In operation it functions as a floating fence for oils and hydrocarbons and can also be used as a floating waste barrier. Standard colour is orange; other colours can be supplied for specific applications.
