Short description
The BO 20/100 barriers are circular floating containment barriers designed to protect waters from solid or liquid wastes and various floating debris on lakes, waterways (rivers, streams, canals) and at sea. Easy to install and assemble, they are suitable for containment operations even in adverse marine conditions. Constructed from durable PVC-coated polyester fabric, buoyancy is provided by closed-cell expanded polyester cylindrical inserts placed inside heat-sealed pockets. A ballasted lower appendage ensures stability and continuous containment. The fabrication fabric tensile strength is greater than 4000 N/5 cm. Supplied in standard 10 m modules or to customer-specified lengths.

Maintenance
The simple construction and quality materials minimize maintenance requirements. It is essential to perform a thorough cleaning at the end of each deployment before storage to preserve performance and longevity.

Uses
The BO model is intended for fixed or semi-fixed installations, for example to surround offshore platforms or external docks of refineries. The barrier is supplied in orange color.
