Product description
Zenit Ambiente’s BE-130 floating barriers are designed for easy installation and effective containment of oils, hydrocarbons and other hazardous or non-hazardous liquids in marine environments. The barrier is supplied in modular sections and is suitable for semi-fixed moorings and open-sea deployments.

Construction and materials
The curtain is manufactured from double-layer PVC-coated polyester (Poly Panama 900) flame-retardant fabric. Buoyancy is provided by compartmentalized Stratocell® closed-cell polyethylene foam templates to ensure uniform flotation. Upper longitudinal sewn ties accommodate an upper tape to facilitate recovery on board. Ballast consists of galvanized Genoese mesh chains connected to the module junctions. Reinforced devices along the lower longitudinal ensure the correct working position. Modules are linked with ASTM type "Z" connectors made of 60/63 aluminum alloy with AISI 316 stainless steel pins.

Installation and modules
The BE-130 is supplied in standard 50 m modules in orange (standard). Modules connect end-to-end using ASTM "Z" connectors, enabling rapid assembly and deployment from vessels or shore.

Maintenance
The simple construction and quality materials minimize maintenance requirements. After each deployment a thorough cleaning before storage is essential. Guidance and support for minor repairs (including tears from adverse weather or sea conditions) are available.

Applications
Intended for containment of oils and pollutants at ports, marinas and semi-fixed open-water landings. Suitable for emergency response and planned protection works.
