Description
"Port-type" ZPN-80 inflatable barriers marketed by Zenit Ambiente are manufactured to be fully compatible with the technical specifications of Mannesmann and Tacconi-type barriers. Materials and construction comply with Ministry of Environment requirements. ZPN-80 units are designed primarily for coastal and port use; their light weight and maneuverability allow fast deployment and easy handling. When deflated they occupy little volume and are simple to stow in confined spaces.

Constructed from a special rubberized neoprene fabric with high mechanical strength and resistance to chemical pollutants, the barriers are suitable for use across extreme temperature ranges. Coupling between modules is achieved using ASTM-type quick-connect fittings in marinized aluminum alloy 60/63. Ballast is provided by stainless-steel weights with snap hooks; an optional galvanized ballast chain can be fitted if required. Valves are plastic with Monsun-type non-return systems.
