Ship water chiller OA-TCS Series

Overview

The OA-TCS Series is a modular water-source heat pump chiller designed to use rivers, lakes or seawater as the heat sink/source. Units provide approx. 7°C chilled water for cooling in summer and approx. 45°C hot water for heating in winter. The modular design enables parallel operation to meet large cooling/heating loads and flexible site configurations.

Features

• Modular frame allowing parallel connection of units for scalable capacity and improved regulation performance, reducing inrush/start-up current.
• Removable coaxial tube-in-tube heat exchanger on the river/lake/seawater side for simplified cleaning and maintenance.
• Operation at low water-source temperatures down to 3°C while maintaining over 70% of rated heating capacity under those conditions.
• Fully enclosed imported-brand compressor selected for low noise and reliability.
• Digital control system with multiple protection and monitoring functions.
• Design measures for corrosion resistance, vibration reduction and structural stability.
• Modular frame supports horizontal or vertical parallel arrangements to fit different plant layouts.

Protection Functions

• Water flow protection: detection and protection against lack of water or interruption in seawater and circulating water systems.
• Refrigerant pressure protection: high-pressure and low-pressure safety cutouts.
• Compressor protection: overload and over-temperature protection.
• Water temperature protection:
  • Low seawater temperature protection and inlet/outlet temperature differential protection.
  • Circulating water high/low temperature protection and inlet/outlet temperature differential protection.
• Optional: zinc anode anti-corrosion protection for seawater applications.

• Example model decoding: OA-48TCS — '48' indicates model size with a cooling/heating capacity of 48,000 Btu/h.
• Power supply note: suffix 'S' indicates 380V/50Hz/3Phase; default is 220V/50Hz/1Phase where applicable.
• Effective operating water-source temperature range: 3–35°C (river/lake/seawater).
• Drain pan and frame material: stainless steel.
