Overview
Compass Marine presents a gangway designed to provide safe, wheelchair access between quay and boat. The walking surface width permits wheelchair passage, double automatic folding handrails increase safety, and mobile slides remove steps between quay and vessel deck. Movement is managed via a local control panel and the supplied radio control. Dimensions can be adapted to different boats and installation requirements.

Materials and construction
The supporting structure is fabricated from aluminium and AISI 316 stainless steel. Decks are manufactured in EASY TEAK composite material by Compass Marine and can be customized on request. Critical mechanical connection points are secured with AISI 316 stainless steel pins and screws. Pistons are constructed entirely in AISI 316 stainless steel. All pipe fittings are stainless steel. The handrails fold down automatically. The gangway is engineered to bear significant loads and is rated for 300 kg at maximum extension.

Operation and customization
Movement is controlled using the supplied control panel and radio remote. Gangway length, width and other dimensions can be modified to fit vessel geometry and berth conditions. Installation options and finishes are available to match onboard and dock requirements.
