Overview
The Swim 270 and Swim 350 are retractable gangways designed for installation on medium and large yachts. These models illustrate Compass Marine’s approach to custom design and manufacture of marine access systems for leisure and commercial vessels.

Movement and Dimensions
The Swim gangways comprise two telescopic sections.

• Total length (fully extended): 270 cm or 350 cm
• Maximum width: 50 cm
• Minimum width at the tip: 45 cm
• Vertical travel: ±10°

The movement system is electro-hydraulic, managed by a programmable PLC. Standard operation via fixed control panel or remote control. Integrated limit switches ensure safe stowage and deployment.

Structure and Materials
The load-bearing structure is entirely AISI 316 stainless steel; the walking surface is teak grating with alternative materials available on request. All critical mechanical components (pins, screws, pistons) are manufactured in AISI 316 stainless steel. The folding handrail retracts automatically during stowage. Design load capacity: up to 150 kg at full extension.
