Launched in 2006, S/Y Rosehearty is the third 56-metre yacht of Perini Navi’s renowned series and the 36th sailing yacht delivered by the shipyard. Conceived as an evolution of an already successful platform, she introduced significant technical innovations while preserving the balance and proportions that define the series. Designed by Perini Navi’s naval architects in collaboration with Ron Holland, Rosehearty was engineered to combine high sailing performance with exceptional comfort, achieved through an optimised aluminium structure and refined weight distribution. Rosehearty features a super-light aluminium hull with streamlined lines and an optimised displacement of approximately 486 tonnes, ensuring both sailing efficiency and onboard comfort. Her ketch rig is supported by two aluminium masts and a total sail area of 1,560 square metres, delivering powerful yet controlled performance under sail. A major technical milestone is represented by her booms: Rosehearty was the first Perini Navi yacht fitted with two carbon fibre furling booms entirely developed and manufactured in-house. Laminated using SPRINT technology and vacuum processes, these booms are equipped with custom electric motors featuring encoders and drives, significantly enhancing sail handling precision and reliability. Interiors by French designer Christian Liaigre offer a sophisticated synthesis of modern design and maritime tradition, expressed through restrained materials, balanced proportions and an atmosphere conceived for long-term cruising rather than display.
