Delivered in 2007, S/Y Tamsen is a 52.4-metre sailing yacht built by Perini Navi as a one-off project. She remains the only yacht of this specific length developed by the shipyard, positioned between established series yet conceived as a distinct platform in terms of volume, performance and cruising profile.
Designed entirely in-house by Perini Navi, Tamsen was conceived for long-range sailing, combining structural robustness with generous interior volumes and efficient propulsion. Her technical configuration reflects a deliberate focus on autonomy, comfort and reliability rather than race-oriented optimisation.
Tamsen features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, a construction choice that prioritises strength, stability and comfort during extended passages. The teak deck reinforces her traditional maritime character while offering practical durability.
Interiors, developed by Perini Navi together with SFA Design, are characterised by restrained elegance and functional clarity. Layouts are distributed across two decks and accommodate up to twelve guests in six staterooms, supported by quarters for eight crew members. The result is a yacht conceived for sustained life on board rather than occasional use.
