Product descriptionNew generation profile designed for classic sailing masts. Dimensions: 311 mm x 184 mm. Longitudinal inertia: 4994 cm4. Lateral inertia: 1838 cm4. Indicative weight: 11.76 kg/m. Extruded profile manufactured in Europe from 6005A T6 alloy. Compatible with luff rope sails or sail slides. Can be tapered on the forward face. Machined using 5-axis CNC machining and anodized after machining and welding.
One-piece masthead machined from an extruded aluminum profile. Aluminum through-bar to prevent galvanic corrosion between aluminum and stainless steel. Aluminum reinforcement plate between the mast profile and the spreaders to prevent local crushing from spreader compression loads. Spreader end fitting with external clamping system. Stainless steel halyard exit with identification label. Gooseneck and vang bracket machined from an extruded aluminum profile (extruded aluminum profile strength nearly three times greater than conventional cast aluminum). Two PVC electrical conduits: one positioned on the forward face and the other on the aft face. Cast aluminum mast step capable of accommodating an equivalent furling mast. Sheave and pivot pin can be added after installation of the mast step. Identification plate located at the gooseneck.
