Construction and FeaturesExtruded profile manufactured in Europe. Alloy: 6005A T6. Compatible with luff groove sails or sail slides. Forward face can be tapered. Machined using 5-axis CNC. Anodized after machining and welding.
One-piece masthead machined from extruded aluminium profile. Aluminium through-bar to prevent galvanic corrosion between aluminium and stainless steel. Aluminium reinforcement plate between the mast profile and the spreaders to prevent local crushing from spreader compression loads. Spreader tip with external clamping system. Stainless steel halyard exit with identification label. Gooseneck and vang bracket machined from extruded aluminium profile. The strength of the extruded aluminium profile is nearly three times that of conventional cast aluminium. Two PVC electrical conduits: one on the forward face and one on the aft face. Cast aluminium mast step capable of accommodating an equivalent furling mast. Sheave and pivot pin can be fitted after mast step installation. Identification plate located at the gooseneck.
