Overview
The C145 carbon mast profile is designed for performance sailboats and can be fitted with an X-rail or with an aluminium or carbon luff groove.

Product details
The carbon masts are finished lacquered or varnished. They are supplied either with a luff groove (in carbon or aluminium) or prepared for an X-rail. The mast head is carbon laminated to the profile. Fittings are bonded and bolted to avoid corrosion between aluminium and carbon and to protect the composite under load. The mast is delivered with spreaders in aluminium or carbon, available straight or curved. Gooseneck and boom vang plates are supplied in carbon or aluminium. Shroud attachment points are either integrated via transverse rods or provided as cap-tang type. The mast base is a female type to prevent composite degradation under load; a G10 plate is installed between the base and the profile footing and lateral insulation in fiberglass is applied to avoid direct contact between the base and the carbon tube.
