C290 profile configurable with an X-rail or an aluminium or carbon luff groove for headsails and furling systems.

Construction and materials
Carbon masts finished lacquered or varnished. Options include a carbon or aluminium luff groove or an X-rail. The masthead is carbon laminated to the profile. Fittings are bonded and bolted to avoid galvanic corrosion between aluminium and carbon and to limit composite degradation under load. Spreaders are available in aluminium or carbon, straight or swept. Gooseneck and boom vang plates are supplied in carbon or aluminium. Shroud attachments are either integrated via transverse rods or of the cap‑tang type. The mast base is female type; a G10 plate is fitted between the base and the profile footing. Lateral insulation using fiberglass prevents direct contact between the base and the carbon tube.
