GAP04/G – Bulletproof inherent lifejacket – XL

Description
Bulletproof lifejacket with inherent flotation provided by closed-cell soft foam. Designed for maritime and offshore use where ballistic protection and flotation are required. Predisposed to accept additional ballistic plates for enhanced protection.

Types of activation

• Automatic activation: On immersion following a fall into the sea the automatic system is submerged and triggers inflation. With the UML MK5 salt activator inflation can occur within approximately 5 seconds via dissolution of a water-soluble tablet. With the Hammar MA1 hydrostatic activator inflation is triggered by immersion pressure when submerged to a depth of at least 10 cm.
• Manual activation: The inflation system is operated by pulling the designated lever. Supplied with the UML MICROMANUAL manual activator and will inflate only by manual operation.
