Description
Personal safety device intended for professional maritime operations and naval special forces. Provides 200N of buoyancy and is offered in two configurations to suit operational requirements: a two-chamber version with independent manual activation and a single-chamber version with automatic activation.

Types of activation

• Automatic activation: If the wearer falls into the sea, immersion triggers automatic inflation of the buoyancy chamber within approximately 5 seconds. Automatic activation is achieved with the UML MK5 salt activator (dissolution of a water-soluble tablet) or with the Hammar MA1 hydrostatic activator (activation by immersion pressure at a depth of at least 10 cm).
• Manual activation: The system is inflated by pulling the operating lever. Supplied with the UML MICROMANUAL manual activator and activates only by hand.
