SAL06/M.M.I — self-inflating lifejacket for adult use.

Description
Safety device designed according to technical specifications customized for the Italian Navy. The lifejacket is composed of two separate chambers and a double activator: one automatic and one manual. Equipped with Buddy System. Accessories included: automatic light and Cyalume. Set to contain heliograph, fluorescein and floating knife.

Types of activation

• Automatic activation: In the event of a fall into the sea, submersion triggers inflation of the buoyancy chamber automatically within 5 seconds. Automatic activation can be achieved with the UML MK5 salt activator (dissolution of a water-soluble tablet) or with the Hammar MA1 hydrostatic activator (pressure from immersion of at least 10 cm).
• Manual activation: The system is activated by pulling the dedicated lever. Supplied with the UML MICROMANUAL manual activator and will operate only by manual action.
