INFLATABLE LIFEJACKET SINGLE-CHAMBER – SUB-A 100N MMI

Overview
Individual personal flotation device designed for special units of the Italian Navy. Variant 04011: two inflatable chambers with independent manual activation. Variant 04012: single inflatable chamber with manual activation.

Activation types

• Automatic activation: If a wearer falls into the water the unit is submerged and automatically inflates the buoyancy chamber within 5 seconds. Automatic activation is available with the UML MK5 salt-type initiator (dissolving water-soluble tablet) or with the Hammar MA1 hydrostatic initiator, which triggers from immersion pressure of at least 10 cm.
• Manual activation: Activated by pulling the dedicated lever. Supplied with the UML MICROMANUAL manual initiator and can be activated manually only.
