Overview
The FLINkiteᐩ is a modular flying bifacial solar panel system designed for quick attachment to an available fall line on vessels or structures. Square bifacial panels are suspended from a halyard and tensioned by the system's center line. Guide lines converge in a clamp that is hooked onto a rail using carabiners, enabling two-axis alignment so panels can be oriented toward the sun. The bifacial panels also harvest reflected light on their rear side (for example from water surfaces), increasing total energy yield.
