Description
Ergonomic, lightweight inflatable lifejacket designed for easy wear and comfort in a variety of maritime conditions. The outer neoprene layer protects the buoyancy chamber and inflator from temperature variation, many chemicals and oils, while offering elasticity and resistance to compression. The wide V-shaped front and deep rear neckline improve comfort over bulky clothing. Padded mesh against the body increases long-term comfort. The cover closes with protected semi-dry zippers that release instantly on inflation via the Burst system. Supplied with a crotch strap. The inflator position is high and inclined to enhance unisex fit; female fit considerations were included in development. CO2 cylinder: 38 g with anti-rotation locking system. Compatible with the main automatic and manual activation systems on the market.

Flotation specifications
Single-compartment buoyancy chamber made from PA 420 PU-coated fabric with electronically controlled high-frequency welds. Provides optimal body position and stability in the water. Buoyant force is sufficient to rotate and tilt an unconscious person, keeping the airway clear of the water. Even when inflated, the jacket allows effective swimming to reach a safe location or get onto a liferaft.

Types of activation

• Automatic activation: On immersion, the system submerges and automatically inflates the chamber within approximately 5 seconds. Automatic activation can be achieved with the UML MK5 salt activator (dissolving a water-soluble tablet) or with the Hammar MA1 hydrostatic activator (activation by immersion pressure of at least 10 cm).
• Manual activation: Activated by pulling the designated lever. Supplied with the UML MICROMANUAL manual activator and will inflate only by manual operation.
