Description
Ergonomic, lightweight inflatable lifejacket with neoprene outer for protection of the buoyancy chamber and inflator. Neoprene provides thermal and chemical resistance while remaining flexible and resistant to compression. The open V front and deep rear neckline ensure comfort over bulky clothing. Padded mesh against the body increases wearer comfort. The cover closes with semi-dry protected zips that open instantly on inflation via the Burst system. Supplied with crotch strap and integrated ISO-certified harness. The 180 N buoyancy chamber is manufactured by electronically controlled high-frequency welding and uses high-visibility fabric. Compatible with main automatic and manual activation systems. Supplied with 38 g CO2 cylinder featuring an anti-rotation locking system. Considerations for female fit were applied during development; the high, inclined position of the activator allows a true unisex fit. Hammar hydrostatic versions include a rubber protective cover for the activator.

PERFECT STABILITY IN WATER
Flotation specification: single-compartment buoyancy chamber in PA 420 PU-coated fabric with electronically controlled high-frequency welds. Ensures optimal in-water position and excellent stability. Buoyancy will rotate and tilt an unconscious person to keep the airway clear. With the chamber inflated it is still possible to swim to a safe location or board a raft.

TYPES OF ACTIVATION

• Automatic activation: upon immersion the system submerges and autonomously inflates the buoyancy chamber within approximately 5 seconds. Automatic activation can be via UML MK5 salt activator (dissolving water-soluble tablet) or Hammar MA1 hydrostatic activator (pressure from immersion of at least 10 cm).
• Manual activation: activation by pulling the dedicated lever. Supplied with UML MICROMANUAL manual activator and will activate only by hand.
