Description

Overview
The Coltri Ergo is a 3-stage high-pressure breathing air compressor from the Efficient Line, engineered for mobile and industrial use. It combines a compact, serviceable frame with a dedicated purification system to produce breathing-quality air when fitted with original Maxifilter cartridges.

3-stage high pressure pumping unit
  • Aluminum monoblock construction
  • Spray (mist) lubrication with drive pin immersed in oil
  • Suction filter: 10 µm
  • Pipes, fittings and nuts in AISI 316 stainless steel
  • Intermediate condensate separator after 2nd stage
  • High-pressure final condensate separators
  • Safety valves after each compression stage
  • Die-cast aluminum cylinders with Nicasil barrel coating for heat dispersion
  • Forged aluminum connecting rods
  • Forged steel crankshaft
  • Stainless steel valves for 2nd and 3rd stages
  • Heavy-duty roller bearings
  • Hardened steel third stage with five special cast-iron segments
  • Thrust pads on 2nd and 3rd stages to remove lateral piston forces
  • Filter system: Maxifilter

Electric motor
Motor transmits motion to the pumping unit via V-belt. Available as single-phase or three-phase electric motor in the 4–5.5 kW range.

Purification system — Maxifilter
The Maxifilter purification system uses combined molecular sieve and activated carbon cartridges to remove moisture, oil vapors and contaminants, enabling treatment to DIN EN 12021 when original cartridges are used. The stated filter capacity is 890 m³ (inlet air 20°C at 200 bar). The Maxifilter is positioned after the 2nd and 3rd stage separators and before the pressure-holding valve.

Electrical cabinet
  • ON/OFF switch with motor protection
  • Electromechanical pressure switch to stop compressor at final pressure
  • Drainage of separators between stages and of final separator during operation
  • Timer for automatic condensate drain device
  • Integrated no-load startup (automatic discharge on shutdown)
  • Condensate collection tank: 5 L (approx. usable 3 L) with silencer
  • Interstage pressure gauges to display operating pressure for each compression stage

Frame and controls
Open steel frame (powder coated RAL 9005) for easy maintenance and transport. Tilting motor carrier plate maintains V-belt tension. Thermoformed protective casing channels cooling air over cylinders and inter-stage pipes. Control console includes interstage gauges, internal temperature indicator, phase-sequence and presence alarms, oil-level alarm, run/stop and manual condensate drain controls.

Standard equipment
  • 2 cylinder connections (choice of DIN 232, DIN 300 or INT/YOKE 232 bar)
  • 2 filling hoses, 1.2 m each
  • Pressure holding valve
  • Interstage control manometers
  • Maxifilter system
  • Inside-cabin temperature sensor with automatic shutdown
  • Automatic rotation direction control
  • Pressure switch with automatic shutdown
  • Oil level control with automatic shutdown
  • Automatic condensate drain with conveying system to canister
  • Frame color: Black RAL 9005

Compatible accessories (examples)
  • C-monitor
  • Single-pressure remote charging panel
  • Double-pressure remote charging panel
  • ColTrimix
  • Cylinder connection DRV DIN 232 bar
  • Cylinder connection DRV DIN 300 bar
  • Cylinder connection DRV INT/YOKE 232 bar
  • Cylinder connection adapter DIN 232 bar INT YOKE
  • Fill hoses (1.5 m, 2 m, 3 m)

Applications & benefits
Intended for production of breathing air for diving, industrial tasks and emergency services when used with appropriate original filtration cartridges. The compact, serviceable layout facilitates maintenance and transport; interstage gauges and built-in protections support operator monitoring and safety.
