Description

Overview
Open is a heavy-duty, open-frame high-pressure compressor engineered for breathing air production and cylinder charging in industrial and diving environments. Designed for high flow and continuous operation with service-friendly access.

Pumping unit
  • 4-stage high-pressure pumping unit, aluminum monoblock
  • Forced lubrication via low-pressure gear pump
  • Suction filter: 10 µm
  • Pipes, fittings and nuts in AISI 316 stainless steel
  • Intermediate condensate separators after 2nd and 3rd stages
  • Minimum lubricating oil pressure switch and safety valves after each stage
  • Special cast iron cylinders with low-roughness lapping; hardened steel 3rd stage with 6 cast-iron rings
  • Forged aluminum connecting rods; forged steel crankshaft; heavy-duty roller bearings
  • High-flow valves on stages 1–3; thrust pads on 2nd and 3rd stages to eliminate lateral piston forces
  • Integrated Hyperfilter purification system


Electric motor
Three-phase electric motor available from 7.5 to 15 kW. Motor transmits motion to the pumping unit via belt drive.

Hyperfilter purification system
  • High-capacity breathing air purification with two cartridges in series: first molecular sieve for moisture removal, second molecular sieve + activated carbon for oil vapors and contaminants
  • Filtering capacity: 3,050 m³ with inlet air at 20°C and 200 bar
  • Separator between 2nd and 3rd stages of purification to extract moisture


Electrical cabinet
  • ON/OFF switch with motor protection
  • Digital electronic pressure switch for automatic stop at final pressure
  • Drainage of all interstage separators and final separator during operation
  • Timer for automatic condensate drainage and integrated no-load startup
  • Condensate collection tank 5 L with silencer (approx. 3 L usable)
  • Interstage pressure gauges for stage diagnostics


Frame
Open vertical frame for easy maintenance. External oil level and drain, control console with interstage gauges, oil pressure gauge, internal temperature indicator, phase-sequence and oil shortage alarms, manual condensate drain and stop controls. Steel frame with scratch-resistant powder coating RAL 9005 black.
