Product overview
Custom-made capstans where safety, efficiency and durability come together. Capstans support safe and efficient handling of mooring lines during mooring operations. They are often supplied as an integrated part of Quick Release Mooring Hook units, but are also delivered as free-standing vertical capstans for use in combination with other deck equipment such as bollards or basic quick release hooks. Our standard range uses high-quality electric motors for reliable performance and consistent control. Thanks to multidisciplinary knowledge and high-tech machinery, Straatman can produce any kind of capstan construction and offers a wide range of modification options varying in size, power, material and added features.
