Description

The goodwill propeller is leading the innovation race in its field thanks to the special gearless patented mechanism. The strong pre-loaded spring inside the body offers unique characteristics and takes the feathering propeller market to the next level. More speed under sail compared to a fixed prop: the blades rotate to the position of less hydrodynamic resistance, improving sailing performace. ► Completely automatic and assisted feathering: the powerful pre-loaded spring ensures that the prop always returns to the feathered position and holds it firmly even at high sailing speeds. This avoids the need to install a shaft brake, a particularly interesting feature for new hydraulic transmissions and electric drives. ► Increased maneuvrability, reliability and safety: the new gearless mechanism has the fastest control response ever seen on a feathering propeller to date with instantaneous reaction to the engine's engagement. ► Adjustable pitch: the new worm gear system for pitch adjustment is user friendly, fast and very precise with increments as small as 0.1 degrees and no desmantling or boat hauling needed. ► Excellent reverse thrust: the special simmetrical blade shape ensures the same great thust both ahead as well as astern.
