TechnologiesChain links are oval in shape and made of galvanized steel. Stud links are reinforced by a transverse hollow or solid metal bar. In addition to strengthening the links, the bars reduce the likelihood of the links fouling on one another if the chain twists around itself. Simple links have no stud.
