High pressure pump unit
The heart of a desalination plant is the high-pressure unit. It must be able to produce up to 60 bar pressure and cope durable with the aggressive medium saltwater. Therefore the new AQUAGIV Watermaker comes with the Danfoss pump consisting of duplex and super duplex stainless steel, whose lifetime is at least 8000 hours without maintenance. Annoying oil changes are eliminated completely.

HP SC ( Super Compact) is supplied on its frame. SC Series can be equipped of membranes 2521 (short) up to a production of 140 Lt/h and can produce up to 260 Lt/h with four membranes 2540.
SC Auto series is equipped of the automatic pressure regulation and automatic membranes flushing.

The HP V series answers to the demands of spaces on board with regards to the mono block construction.
The vertical conception of the plant gives the possibility to insert the system in tight places. The base of the HP V is only 470 mm X 280 mm, and the height is 620 mm.
These measurements are referred to the body of the watermaker that in this case does not include the membranes that can be easily be installed vertically or horizontally everywhere. The watermakers of the V series are modular and can be supplied in the V KIT version (see the drawing in the following page ) without any extra cost.

The DUO is the first bi-powered water maker system world-wide.
