The E-POD combines the motor, suspension, cooling, gearbox, clutch, propeller shaft and propeller into one complete system. Description This space-saving solution makes the engine box and through-boat propeller shaft redundant, opening up the floor space and making a completely new boat design possible. Another unique feature of the E-POD is that there are no rotating or vibrating parts inside the boat. Better still, the E-POD requires no shaft or shaft bearings. The propeller submerged in the water outside the boat is powered directly, being the rotor of the energy-efficient permanent magnet brushless induction motor drive. To reduce propulsion noise even further, the propeller is designed to minimize cavitation while maintaining maximum propulsion power. Maximum motor power and long distances on a single battery charge result from efficient motor management and direct 360° liquid cooling, so you can enjoy a full day on the water with no limitations.
