NTERMEDIATE PROPELLER SHAFT BEARING | ISB SERIES $850.33 – $2,002.87 Longer propeller shafts require more bearing support. Our intermediate shaft bearings help bridge the gap when a traditional bronze stern bearing and forward shaft bearing are not enough. Our intermediate shaft bearings can also be used to replace traditional stuffing boxes when combined with a dripless shaft seal. In this case, the cast bronze finish is machined with barbs to help mate up to the self-aligning shaft seal. This is the same bearing used in our popular ISB-SA Combo shaft sealing system. Each one of our water lubricated shaft bearings are precision machined from cast bronze and feature Duramax (Johnson) Cutless© bearings.
