Description
The C430SP is a manual headsail furler from the Profurl below-the-deck Cruising range. It provides an aesthetic below-deck installation that optimises the luff for improved sail shape. The tack point is height-adjustable. Maximum forestay diameter: 12.7 mm (rod #40). Extrusions are colourless anodized. Supplied with a 10-year warranty.

Technical description
Profurl furling systems are designed for reliability and long service life.

• Special sealed bearings enable furling in all conditions and protect against corrosion and contamination.
• Extrusions use a high-strength 6106 alloy with internal ribs to reduce weight while maintaining stiffness.
• Ball bearings are 100 C6 carbon steel, optimized for weight/resistance and sealed in a grease bath to increase working load and corrosion resistance.
• Watertightness is ensured by two double-lip seals preventing ingress of salt, sand, dust and water.
• Non-deformable plastic drums resist impacts (anchor bump, collision) and UV exposure.
• Standard feeder allows single-crew hoisting. Optional Wichard opening pre-feeder guides the luff tape into the extrusion and can be reattached without removing the headsail.
• Double-cage drum arms (exclusive to Profurl) prevent the furling line from jumping off the drum and allow automatic re-alignment by pulling the line.
• Feeder and opening pre-feeder are manufactured in stainless steel (316L).
