The LED is set back and the inside anodized black for reduced glare. By utilizing a single optic with a tri chip LED the colour mixing happens at source, resulting in smoother RGB changing and no multiple shadows. This is a tough fitting sealed to IP68 for wet areas like steps up from a pool platform as well as downlighting.
