Description

Core of coated UHMWPE/Dyneema® yarns en round braided polyester cover, higher breaking load by lower heat build-up and internal abrasion resistance. Langman Rope Blizzard is a double braided rope. The cover is 32-strand braided polyester. The core is 12-strand braided pre stretched from UHMWPE Dyneema® SK78 yarns. Because the UHMWPE Dyneema® yarn is coated, the heat build-up is less, the breaking strength is higher and the abrasion resistance is better. Blizzard is frequently used as high-quality ropes in water sports, on all kinds of racing and regatta marine boats. This line is somewhat stronger and more rounded than the Dycore-X rope and because of the 32-braided cover this line is even better suited for automatic winches and also suitable as a hoist rope. Because of the core of UHMWPE Dyneema® SK78 yarn, extremely strong and light and because of the polyester cover excellent abrasion resistant and UV-resistant. APPLICATIONS Halyard rope Hoist rope Winches rope SPECIFICATIONS Properties Extreme strong and very light ( UHMWPE core) Flexible and good splicable (double braided) Round and sturdy braided High tenacity polyester cover Very good UV-resistant Low elongation Alternatives Dycore-X Q1
