HDEF50 EFI is a mid-range 4-cylinder, 4-stroke outboard developed by Hidea, integrating DELPHI programmed Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for precise fuel delivery and responsive throttle control.

• Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI): Programmed EFI with DELPHI system for accurate ignition timing, instant throttle response and fuel-efficient operation.
• Quick starts: EFI automatically adjusts the air–fuel mixture for fast starts and smooth warm-up.
• More quiet: Reverse Exhaust Relief system redirects exhaust through the propeller into the water to reduce running noise.
• Engine Alert System: Continuous monitoring of vital engine parameters, alerting the operator to overheating, low oil pressure and other critical conditions.
• Power Thrust Design: Higher gear ratio provides enhanced forward and reverse thrust for improved maneuverability.
• Cruising fuel economy: Multi-Point Fuel Injection with long intake tracks adjusts mixture by speed and load, optimizing power across the rpm range and saving up to 20% fuel at cruising speed.

The HDEF50 EFI delivers responsive mid-range performance with electric start and ECM ignition for reliable control. The unit supports rear or front operation and uses gearing and thrust optimization to enhance handling and maneuvering in typical work and recreational boating applications.
