EFI systemThe Programmed Electronic Fuel Injection (DELPHI EFI) precisely controls air–fuel ratio and ignition timing at start-up and across the rev range to optimize operation and reduce fuel consumption.
Quiet operation and stabilityBased on the Hidea HDF20 platform, the HDEBF20EFI uses a 2-cylinder configuration and a Reverse Exhaust Relief system that routes exhaust through the propeller to reduce noise and improve in-water sound characteristics.
Quick starts and operationThe EFI automatically adjusts the mixture for faster, easier starting and warm-up. Electric start is standard and the engine supports rear or front operation configurations.
Engine Alert SystemIntegrated Engine Alert System continuously monitors critical parameters (overheat, low oil pressure, etc.) and notifies the operator to help prevent damage.
Cruising fuel economyThe EFI adapts air–fuel mix to load and speed, maximizing torque across the rpm range and delivering up to ~20% fuel savings at cruising speed compared with comparable outboards.
