Overview
The HDEF30 EFI is a 4-stroke outboard engine equipped with programmed Electronic Fuel Injection (DELPHI EFI). The system precisely controls ignition timing and fuel delivery for immediate throttle response, reliable cold starts and optimized fuel efficiency in a compact 2-cylinder 498 cc package.

Quick starts
EFI automatically adjusts air–fuel mixture for consistent, fast starts and smooth warm-up. Turn the key and the engine starts reliably even in varying conditions.

Reduced noise
Reverse Exhaust Relief redirects exhaust through the propeller into the water, lowering acoustic signature during operation for a quieter onboard experience.

Engine Alert System
The Engine Alert System continuously monitors critical parameters (overheating, low oil pressure, etc.) and notifies the operator to reduce risk of damage and downtime.

Power Thrust Design
A higher gear ratio provides increased forward and reverse thrust, improving low-speed maneuverability and acceleration for handling heavy loads or tight docking maneuvers.

Cruising fuel economy
Multi-point fuel injection paired with long intake tracks automatically adapts the air–fuel mix to speed and load, maximizing usable power across the rpm range and reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% at cruise speed.
