Overview
The GRABNER Riverstar is an inflatable touring kayak designed for two tall adults with luggage. Its Wavepiercer bow and flat, long waterline enable efficient forward travel with minimal effort, making it suitable for day trips and extended tours on rivers, lakes and coastal waters.

New Wavepiercer design
The Wavepiercer bow and streamlined inflatable floor extend the waterline so the kayak glides instead of pushing a bow wave.

Practical multifunctional line & boat trolley fittings

Four stainless-steel triangular fittings at the stern provide stable mounting for a boat trolley and securing larger equipment. The multifunction line is not for carrying the boat; dedicated carry handles are provided at bow and stern.

Flat design

Side deck increases stability, improves body contact with the boat, reduces splash and eases re-entry from the water.

Gear storage
Touring storage solutions include:

• Bow/stern bag with waterproof zipper
• Bow/stern nets for small items within reach
• Internal dry bag shaped to fit bow/stern
• Attachment points at the stern (four stainless-steel triangular fittings) for trolley or bulky equipment

Ergonomic carrying handles
Wide handles rotate 360° at bow and stern for comfortable carrying; rear handle has flexible rubber attachment to protect against contact with a raised rudder blade.

Steering device (optional)
Optional steering device assists course-keeping in crosswinds and currents; operated via left/right pedals; rudder folds up on contact with the ground; steering lines installed during assembly remain permanently.

Electric motor (optional)
Optional electric rear motor delivers gentle assistance for longer ranges and light headwinds. Speed via wrist remote; direction via foot pedals; motor folds up on ground contact. Range examples: one battery ≈ 4 h; motor-only ≈ 4 km/h (≈ 16 km); motor + paddling ≈ 6 km/h (≈ 24 km).

Quality
Made from hot-vulcanized EPDM rubber (1100 dtex) with high abrasion and UV resistance; hot-vulcanized in one piece for strong seams; interior coating of 100% natural rubber for airtightness; PVC- and phthalate-free; handmade in Austria.
