Description

Description
CCR is a low-viscosity, water-clear, UV-resistant biobased epoxy system developed for casting, molding and thick coatings. The CCS slow hardener is formulated specifically for high-density, large or deep castings and coatings and is part of the Super Sap® family with ~30% biobased content (USDA BioPreferred Certified).

Use
  • Resin jewellery
  • Thick coatings and high-build applications
  • Large or deep castings and inlay work

Key system behaviour
Low viscosity enables bubble-free, crystalline castings suitable for artistic, hobby and industrial applications. Two cure speeds are available in the CCR system: CCS (slow) for high-thickness/high-density castings and CCF (fast) for smaller or rapid projects such as jewellery.

Tips for use
  • Measure mixing ratio by weight for best accuracy.
  • Stir thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, scraping container surfaces to ensure homogeneity.
  • Work in a temperature-controlled environment (recommended 15°C–25°C); avoid cold or very humid conditions.
  • Ensure surfaces are dry and free of dust, debris and oil; surface preparation by sanding is recommended.
  • Perform preliminary trials to verify curing behaviour and material compatibility in your process.

Important note
Moisture or presence of water can cause hazing or opacity; if this occurs, a heat gun may be used to restore clarity.
