Product Overview
The AQ8A lifejacket light is an alkaline battery-powered emergency light designed for attachment to lifejackets. It activates automatically on contact with water and also includes a manual on/off switch for controlled use.

Fitting

• Secure the light to the lifejacket in a position providing maximum visibility when the wearer is in the water, preferably near the shoulder.
• Ensure the installation position allows the water sensors on the main body to contact water when immersed.
• Feed the clip behind the lifejacket material or through a button hole and press into the light until it clicks securely. Once fastened the light cannot be removed unless the clip is broken.

Operation

• The light automatically activates when the sensors are immersed in water.
• To operate manually, press the button on the front of the unit.
• The light can be turned off by pressing the front button at any time, including when still immersed in water.
