WS Series ultra-compact external stern thruster pods for outboards/sterndrives with integrated power system. The brand new WS series is a completely new way of mounting a stern thruster propeller system. When mounting conventional stern thrusters on boats with outboard motors or stern drives, the motor/drive obstructs free water flow to both sides. The WS Series uses two thruster motors—one mounted on each side of the engine / stern drive, providing free water flow when maneuvering to port or starboard. Thanks to super-compact 3-phase brushless motor technology, installation is flexible. Despite its compact size, performance is comparable to a conventional stern tunnel thrusters. Intended for boats up to ~50 ft / max 11,000 kg. System includes two thruster motors with motor cables and a control unit with integrated DC DC power converter WS60C or charger for model WS70-70P-80.
