How to choose this product
panama-chock

A panama chock is a special type of hawse hole at a vessel's bow.

Applications

Such chocks are used for temporary mooring. The name derives from their use for attaching ships to the locomotives that maneuvered them through the Panama Canal locks.

Technologies

These fittings are found at the vessel's bow bulwarks, below the gunwale. They are bolted or welded to the hull and have rounded edges to avoid chafing the lines or cables passing through them.

How to choose

Choice will depend primarily on the size of the vessel and the diameter of the lines.
