TYPE UNIFLEX
Exact alignment and the concentric installation of a propeller shaft in a boat are always delicate and misalignment after setting with water remains always possible. Flexible coupling VETUS Uniflex solves this problem. Independently of the characteristics of flexible couplings described low, Uniflex coupling has the 2 following advantages: centering is ensured and misalignment can reach 2 degrees. This coupling is appropriate for the engines assembled on silentblocs and equipped with a flexible stuffing box. Installed under an angle of 2° the maximum mode on the tree will not have to exceed 1500 t/mn.

Standard flexible coupling 6 has a conical hub with concentric tightening guaranteeing the perfect concentric tightening of the tree without machining. From where time-savings.
TYPE 6: hole of centering 20 mm or cylindrical boring and keyslot for tree 0 25,30,35 Misters With connections 4 " and 5 " for, inter alia, Hurth, Velvet, TD, ZF and PRM.

TYPE BULLFLEX
Flexible coupling "BULLFLEX" brings a greater flexibility between the engine and the line of trees. New flexible coupling "BULLFLEX" was especially conceived to ensure a better filtration of the vibrations. The vibrations of the couple due to a change of mode engine or an operation with too low mode are filtered by these flexible rubber supports. The alleged rubber elements allow a quiet connection and without vibrations between the engine and the line of trees. Coupling BULLFLEX is reinforced against shearing in the pin and the 2 directions of rotation, in order to ensure an optimal connection in all circumstances.
Another strong point of the BULLFLEX is excel it alignment of the line of trees. On the basis of the principle that a perfect alignment of the engine and line of trees are often a tedious operation, coupling "BULLFLEX" will make an easy operation of it.
Even with a variation of alignment of 2°, the line of trees will be centered perfectly on the oil cake of coupling of the reverser. Because of the mode of tightening of the hub, the tree will be always well centered in flexible coupling and the assembly and, more important, uncoupling become a simple tèche. The line of trees does not need an expensive machining: cross to the length, trim and assemble; it is all.
Standard couplings BULLFLEX 1,2 and 4 have connections 4 " for the reverser. Models 8 and 16 have connections 4 and 5 ". Model 32 is provided with 6 tapped holes M16 on a circle of diameter 120,65. This allows the assembly of the BULLFLEX on the majority of models HURTH, VELVET, TD, ZF and PRM.

The Evolution Flexible Shaft Coupling (EFSC) solves misalignment, absorbs and dampens shock loads and shaft vibrations, prolongs the life of machinery, and isolates metal-to-metal for quietness.
The EFSC is comprised of four major components: 1) a spool flange machined to bolt directly to the reduction flange; 2) a large circular rubber flex joint that's replaceable; 3) a split flange coupling for the shaft with pinch bolts, set bolts, and keyway; 4) a retainer cover that serves to protect the rubber flex joint, capture all bolts, and improve overall strength of the unit.
The Evolution Flexible Shaft Coupling uses quality construction and few parts and is easily installed.

The main problem in the design phase of a shaft is to confer minimum vibration and enough mechanical strength to ensure the safety of the system in any condition.
The propeller shaft, which is developed in a single dimension, is subject to torsion even at high rpm, and it is here that our company demonstrates its technological potential.
We make shafts on NC lathes that, in the bigger diameters, allow for the best degree of precision.
This translates into a perfect response to design data and the final product delivered to the client. Perfectly aligned shafts are an indispensable condition for a low level of vibration and the longevity of the installation.
Our production of propeller shafts includes a range from 25 to 205 mm diameter and over 7 m in length. We use AISI 304, AISI 316, V174, and MARINOX 25 stainless steel.

If your yacht is fitted with a hydraulic gearbox and the propeller continues to rotate when under sail with the engine turned off, it is likely that the gearbox will not be sufficiently lubricated. Autolock has been developed to solve this problem and provides the following significant advantages:-
- Stops prop rotation when sailing.
- Reduces gearbox wear.
- Reduces prop drag.
- Stops cruising prop noise.
- Manufactured from stainless steel and other non-corrosive materials.

The SCHOTTEL Pump-Jet (SPJ) operates on the principle of a centrifugal pump. An impeller sucks in water from under the hull and forces it into a pump housing. The outlet nozzles are fitted in the bottom plate, making it possible for the jet to be installed in a flat-bottomed hull too.
With a compact design, low loss of buoyancy and low suction effect, Pump-Jets with power ratings up to 3500 kW develop a high thrust even in extremely shallow water and over a wide speed range. Like all SCHOTTEL products, they are distinguished by their excellent manoeuvring properties - as propulsion units for inland and coasting vessels or as independent manoeuvring and standby systems for seagoing ships.

The SCHOTTEL Navigator (NAV) can readily be installed as a complete, self-contained propulsion package on virtually any watercraft. Its main components are the chassis, engine or motor, clutch, cardan shaft and Rudderpropeller.
SCHOTTEL Navigators are highly flexible, easy-to-maintain propulsion systems for vessels of simple design.

This "Sail Drive" is deliverable for all marine engines VETUS up to 80 CV included. There is the choice between two ratios of drive unit, are 2.49: 1 or 2.23: 1. The case is exactly the same one for the two versions (see like example the drawing of installation of the M4.17 engine). There is no difference either as for the ratios in drive unit before or back. This can be advantageous in the case of a twin-engine application, as in a catamaran, with a left propeller rotation and the other line. Another advantage of this SaiIDrive is that it can be provided with the section under water in transferred position 180°. This allows and facilitates an installation engine very compact drive unit, with the back of the boat.

A 360° rotating hydraulic drive for sailing boats, motorized sloops, etc.
Incredible manoeuvrability (360° rotating drive annex propeller!)
No rudder required
No propeller shaft required
Quick and easy assembly
No gearbox
The engine may be positioned in any convenient place
Suitable for diesel engines of up to 30kW (40 hp)
The WillDo Rotadrive has been designed with a view to simplicity in use, optimal manoeuvrability and a minimum amount of moving components. In order to accomplish this, we have selected a hydraulic drive. The assembly consists of four main components:
1. A hydraulic pump, connected to the diesel engine which is permenantly rotating, as long as the engine is running. The flow of the hydraulic pump is controlled by changing the number of revolutions of the engine.
2. The connection between the hydraulic pump and the Rotadrive is made by means of three flexible tubes of 25, 20 and 14 mm diameter, respectively.
3. The Rotadrive is equipped with an integrated tank or, if preferred without a tank. In that case the seperate hydraulic tank could be installed in any convenient place and position.
4. The Rotadrive is controlled with the help of a touchscreen on which a windrose is projected. By means of the throttle and the good old steering wheel all control directives are transmitted to the Rotadrive and the diesel engine.
