The lifeboat is a totally enclosed motor propelled lifeboat craft (TELB), design and construction fulfill the need for reliable, low maintenance standby and operation. And it is designed to be launched by cantilevered gravity luffing arm davit. The boat is fitted with shock absorbing skates / fenders to provide protection to the inboard side of the craft during launching. The lifeboat hull, superstructure, hatches, buoyant tanks, steering nozzle, water and provision containers are made of fire-retardant glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP). Manual pump should be mounted to eliminate the seeper of the boat.
